Cara’s practice concentrates on bankruptcy law, commercial litigation and commercial transactions. Cara handles complex commercial litigation cases and complex multi-million dollar commercial transactions for financial institutions, corporate and individual clients. In her bankruptcy practice, Cara has represented corporate debtors, bankruptcy trustees and creditors, has handled a multi-million dollar Ponzi scheme case and several complex business reorganizations. She practices in both state and federal courts and is licensed in both Tennessee and Georgia. She has served two terms as a member of the Board of Directors for the MidSouth Commercial Law Institute and previously served on the Hearing Panel of Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility.
